The mutual relation of body mechanics and nerve function has been recognized for many centuries. Most of the healing professions have recognized this in varying degrees. The psychologists recognize total body flexion with regression into the embryonic posture as a grave problem. Even the casual psychologist recognizes the erect aggressive posture as that of positive successful action. The slumped dejected posture of defense generally implies negative stasis. Orthopedic surgeons, osteopaths and chiropractors have been doing increasing investigation into the details of this problem.
